Our Global CIO is leading a significant evolution of our Enterprise Technology capabilities, bringing together over 2,500 technology professionals into an integrated global team. This Team will play a crucial role in enabling the ongoing transformation of our agencies and functions.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and implementation of enterprise analytics, reporting products and performance management solutions
- Contributes to the designing, configuring, and deploying enterprise performance solution using the Azure data technology stack.
- Contributes to the data architecture and data integration with dimensional data modeling, data sourcing / mapping, and data flow within the implemented solution.
- Responsible for analyzing business/data requirements, estimate, and perform data preparation.
- Provide ideas to enhance the product and deliver additional value to our users
- Being an expert at eye level with our clients to deliver consistent answers for reinsurance data related questions without endangering the “Single Point of Truth” for reinsurance data
- Supporting key users and business users regarding data warehouse and reporting solutions to support and improve data analysis interpretation
What you'll need:
- Education: completed university studies in Computer Science, Information Technology or comparable
- Personality and Working Practice: team player, good communication skills, analytical thinking and structured
- Experience and Knowledge:
- Proficiency with Power BI:
- 5+ years of Power BI and Power Query experience
- Have end-to-end experience within Power BI; from ETL via Power Query to publishing secure reports and dashboards
- Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
- Knowledgeable in Power Query and DAX, skilled in SQL
- Experience working with modern data warehousing on functional and technical basis (data model, characteristics/dimensions/attributes, key figures, query design)
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Automation, and Azure Data Lake
- Experience with design and implementation (functional and technical) of new data visualization concepts to generate new global business intelligence approaches.
- Ability to design new reporting approaches based on the holistic warehouse data model and reporting standards and notations
- Agile software development and technology best practice methodologies
- Data Governance processes
- Comfort with industry standard version control tooling
- Media / advertising industry experience is a plus.
- Qualifications: certifications or equivalent skills of AZ-204, AI-900, DP-100, DA-100 and/or DP-203 are beneficial
- Languages: very good English skills, any other language is a plus
