About the roleAs a Pre-Sales Associate, you are the first human voice a parent hears from Codingal. You will call parents who have shown interest in coding for their child, understand what they are really looking for, and help them see the value of a free trial class. You are not pushing a product — you are helping a parent make a good decision for their child, and setting up our sales team with a warm, well-qualified conversation.
It is a fast-paced, target-driven role with a lot of conversations every day. If you like talking to people, learn quickly, and want a clear path into a full sales career, this is a strong place to start.
What you will doMake outbound calls to prospective and existing Codingal parents to generate and qualify leads for coding classes.
Run a customer needs assessment (CNA) on every lead — understand the child’s age, interests, school workload and the parent’s goals before recommending anything.
Book and confirm free trial classes, and follow up with reminder calls so parents actually show up.
Prime and nurture leads across channels — calls, WhatsApp, email and SMS — so no interested parent goes cold.
Hand over qualified, well-documented leads to the Business Development team with clear context on what the parent wants.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in LeadSquared CRM and our telecalling tools every single day.
Own your daily and monthly numbers — calls made, connects, CNAs completed, trials booked and trial attendance.
Track your own performance metrics, spot what is working, and share it with the team.
0–2 years of experience in pre-sales, telecalling, inside sales or customer support. Freshers with strong communication are welcome.
Clear, confident and warm communication in English and Hindi, spoken and written. Additional regional languages are a big plus.
Genuine empathy — you listen to what a parent is worried about before you talk about the product.
The ability to ask sharp questions and qualify a need, rather than reading from a script.
Comfort with numbers and targets, and the resilience to keep going in a high-performance environment.
Strong multitasking and follow-through — you can hold 40+ conversations a day and still remember who needs a call back.
A learning mindset. You should be able to understand our product well enough to speak to a parent about it within your first few days.
Flexibility on working hours. Our parents are spread across 70+ countries, so some shifts include evenings or weekends.
A graduate degree in any discipline.

We hire pre-sales associates as the start of a sales career, not a dead end. A typical strong performer moves along this path:

Compensation and locationAnnual compensation: ₹3,60,000 – ₹4,80,000 per year, made up of a competitive fixed base plus a variable performance incentive. The final offer depends on your experience, communication skills and interview performance.
Location: HSR Layout Sector 7, Bengaluru. This is an onsite role and cannot be done remotely.
Interviews: Conducted at our Bengaluru office.
1. Application review — we look at your CV and communication.
2. Telephonic screening — a short call to hear how you speak with people.
3. Interview at the HSR office — including a live mock call with a parent scenario.
4. Offer — we move fast and aim to close within a week.
What salary can I expect?
₹3,60,000 to ₹4,80,000 a year — a fixed base plus a variable performance incentive. Where you land depends on your experience, communication skills and interview performance. Top performers earn meaningfully more through incentives.
What is the eligibility criteria?
A graduate degree in any discipline and 0–2 years of experience. Freshers with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
What skills matter most for this job?
Clear, confident spoken English and Hindi, real empathy for parents, and the discipline to follow up. A Computer Science background is not required — we will teach you the product.
