The Presales & Business Development Manager at Nokia is responsible for designing innovative solutions in Fixed Networks, focusing on customer business and technology needs. Responsibilities
  • Design and recommend fixed network solutions aligned with customer business and technology objectives.
  • Lead solutions development for specific customer opportunities while coordinating end-to-end product aspects.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to presales teams and product units to ensure comprehensive solutions.
  • Present product roadmaps and technology evolution in fixed networks to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the preparation of offers, including technical and commercial responses, and secure approval for submission.
  • Support sales operations by contributing to proposal strategies and facilitating solution handovers to implementation teams.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by serving as the primary contact and collaborating closely with technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and sustain domain expertise in fixed networks technologies and architectural considerations.
     
Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Degree in telecommunications engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience designing end-to-end solutions for carrier or service provider networks
  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Networks technology, particularly PON and DSL
  • Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals, including pricing strategies
  • Fluency in Japanese with local knowledge of Japanese enterprise and CSP markets

Nice-To-Have:

  • Understanding of carrier service and network integration practices
  • Experience in product management or pre-sales technical roles
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to telecommunications
  • Ability to present to senior technical and business managers
  • Experience working across departmental boundaries within large organizations
