Design and implement very secure, scalable, performant Azure-based architectures that meet business requirements.

Build repeatable, well-documented architectures that can be adopted and consumed by customers

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting best practices and driving technical excellence.

Support L4+ troubleshooting and escalations in the event of problems or incidents.
-
Review existing cloud architectures and recommend optimizations and performance improvements.

Ensure architectural consistency and alignment with industry standards and best practices as well as other cloud architectures at GE HealthCare
-
Evaluate and recommend new AI-focused technologies and tools to enhance our cloud infrastructure and development processes.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

Leads and coordinates the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction.

Supports, develops, and communicates domain-wide policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

Works closely with project management to ensure alignment of plans with what is being delivered.

Recommends cost effective solutions with a vigilant eye on financial operations

Create and monitor key metrics validating designs

Meets with project management and software development leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.

Define the skills, competencies in the skills and talents for architecture team members.

Challenges conventional thinking and traditional ways of operating and invites stakeholders to identify issues and opportunities. Helps others overcome resistance to change.

Knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.)
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 15 years of experience
Technical Expertise:
-
Proven experience in designing and deploying scalable cloud solutions on Azure
-
Deep knowledge of network and API integrations among cloud-based platforms
-
Excellent understanding of enterprise-class, cloud-native design patterns and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level
-
Ability to analyze, design, and develop a software solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.

Experience sustaining operational stability through various life cycle phases (planning, implementation, steady state, de-commissioning); Ability to provision and budget via capital and operating.

Able to lead early stage customer interactions; Guide customers as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches, and integrate with their legacy tech investments.
