Introduction:

Creation of Design Methodology Reference flow solutions for a wide variety of Technology nodes focused on RF silicon technologies. Enable flows to reduce the customer barrier to technology adoption.

Your Job:

• Create design methodology solutions for a wide variety of RF Technology nodes.
• Develop RF and MMW design enablement collateral to help the Company's customers adopt the most advanced silicon technologies.
• Define process for multi-chip co-simulation flow with on chip passives and antennas using electromagnetic (EMag) EDA tools.
• Work with EDA vendors to resolve issues related to RF design and analysis flows and provide inputs for improvement of tools.
• Write scripts to parse reports, create CSV files and update database tables.
• Apply machine learning techniques to predict various design outcomes using the data in the database.
• Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed.

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education – Fundamental knowledge of semiconductor device physics and Transmission-line theory.
  Requires a technical (University) degree. (Exceptions approved by local HR).
• Experience -BS + 3-5 years of experience or MS + 2-3 year or PhD + 0-1 year
• Skill - Proficient with usage of one or more of industry standard RFIC design and simulation tools: Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre/RF, Keysight ADS, Momentum, EMX, HFSS, CST etc.,
• Knowledge of RF circuit block, understanding of theory and method on how to test RF products, familiarity with RF test parameters and specs, especially of functional blocks such as switches, LNAs and PAs etc along with their main features and figure of merits
• Basic understanding of the physical IC characteristic, such as layout and substrate parasitics, RF transistor model, IR drop, electromigration, electromagnetics, and passive devices in IC
• Understanding of technology variation and corner methodology.
• Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications

• Education –Masters or PhD in electrical, electronics
• Experience – Design of RF circuit block such as switches, LNAs and PAs, familiarity with RF measurement and testing equipment.
• Skills - java/python coding and/or genAI interest/coursework
• Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning & organizational skills.
