Position: Principal Engineer, Functional Safety, Quality process Digitization expert

- Team: Quality Assurance Engineering Team
- Experience: 10+ years
- Expertise:,Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Process Audits, Compliance with Automotive projects/programs with Standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE, IATF will be a plus.
- Key Role: This is a mid-senior level position in the field of Quality Assurance Engineering, focused on ensuring the functional safety of systems, processes, or products. This role combines the expertise in quality management and process audits with a focus on functional safety, ensuring that safety considerations are seamlessly integrated into the organization's quality processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Certification in functional safety - ISO 26262 Functional Safety Professional.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262,
- Good awareness in ASPICE and IATF, automotive quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Safety Leadership:
- Lead and guide the implementation of functional safety processes in automotive projects.
- Define and refine processes in accordance with ISO 26262 requirements.
- Ensure the integration of safety practices into both hardware and software development lifecycles.
- Process Definition:
- Develop and refine processes for automotive functional safety projects.
- Align processes with ISO 26262 standards to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and streamline safety processes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the quality team's activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct audits to evaluate adherence to ISO 26262, ASPICE, and other relevant standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings.
- Software Quality:
- Leverage experience in software quality to enhance development processes.
- Implement best practices for software quality assurance in line with industry standards.
- Hardware Quality (Good to know):
- Apply hardware quality expertise to enhance overall product quality.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quality processes into their workflows.
- Standards Knowledge:
- Mandatory experience in implementation of Functional Safety ISO 26262
- Awareness and knowledge in IATF 16949
- Provide guidance to the team on the interpretation and implementation of these standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with software and hardware development teams to ensure a unified approach to quality and Functional safety.
- Facilitate communication and understanding between different functional areas.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training sessions to teams on ISO 26262, and other relevant standards.
- Mentor team members to enhance their understanding of functional safety principles.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree or higher in Electronics / Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- At least 10+ years in quality assurance engineering or a related field in electronics or related industries.
- Should have good knowledge in the implementation of Functional safety standard - ISO 26262
- Fluent English communication
PREFERRED:
- Previous experience in Flash, Automotive Product Design and Manufacturing.
- Trained Six-sigma, quality tool, SPC, FMEDA, and 8D
- Experience in Continual Improvement methodology.
- Experience in documentation and document control process
