Team Description

Sabre is looking for a Product Manager in the Offer Optimization Team, specifically dealing with dynamic pricing of ancillaries. This role will involve close collaboration with development teams to drive product innovations, ensure alignment with business goals, oversee the entire product lifecycle and creation/enhancement of AI/ML driven pricing models by working closely with data scientists & engineers, .

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within the retail technology space, with a good understanding of AI/ML technologies & applications, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage product validations and stakeholder expectations.

You will be proficient in the product, understand its structure and architecture, its capabilities. You will capture market needs, customer input, usage, data and translate those into user stories that meet customer and market requirements and support the company’s strategy and technical innovation goals. The role possesses a unique blend of business and technical skills, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for AI/ML-powered products and features
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for ML innovation and differentiation
  • Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with product goals.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that ML models and features are delivered according to the roadmap.
  • Oversee the integration of ML models into product features, ensuring they meet performance and accuracy standards.
  • Work with data scientists to define key metrics and evaluate model performance.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends to refine product features and drive product innovation.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates on product performance, market impact, and strategic direction
  • Be the product's subject-matter expert (SME) inside scrum teams
  • Attend scrum ceremonies and provide guidance to scrum teams
  • Analyze, triage and troubleshoot maintenance issues
  • Conduct demos (internal or external, as needed)

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with Airline technology
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management role
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, evaluate model performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Business and technology-oriented, with a strong product and functional background
  • Ownership mindset of individual and team objectives; with both tactical and strategic thinking to ensure measurable results
  • Ability to work independently and resolve professional, technical or operational project challenges in a creative, methodical manner
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented, highly collaborative virtual environment that is geographically distributed
  • Ability to successfully navigate in a multi-stakeholder environment where there are often competing priorities, goals and challenges across our diverse set of internal and external customers and partners
  • Excellent self-organization skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize several projects in parallel
  • Strong business acumen and situational awareness
  • Able to well define a product’s feature set
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields
  • Experience with Full-Service Carriers, Low-Cost Carriers or Travel Agencies
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in travel retailing and e-commerce (such as AI/ML, dynamic offers, etc.)
  • Tech-savvy, ability to engage with Engineering colleagues to drive technical solutions
