What you will do
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and architects to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and performance benchmarks.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, in accordance with coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews to increase code quality, consistency, and alignment with the product design and architecture.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer issues.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development processes and tools.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive technical innovation within the team.
What you will have
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 9+ years of progressive experience in full-stack software development, with a proven track record of delivering complex, scalable web applications.
- Backend Excellence: Deep expertise in Java and modern web frameworks such as Spring Boot , with strong experience designing modular, scalable, and secure backend architectures.
- Frontend Mastery: Proficient in js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, with experience building performant, maintainable, and responsive user interfaces.
- API & Microservices: Strong background in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, S3, SQS, IAM etc.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for deploying and managing distributed systems at scale.
- DevOps & Automation: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Demonstrated ability to architect for end-to-end solutions, drive technical design decisions, and mentor teams on best practices.
- Deep understanding of software design principles, system scalability, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience leading code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and driving continuous improvement in development processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading cross-functional collaboration using tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with an emphasis on clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Commitment to secure coding, software quality assurance, and unit/integration testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
- Passionate about building user-centric, high-performance applications using modern web technologies and clean architectural patterns.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of the Golang
- Good knowledge of PKI, Cryptography and Code Signing would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of the LLM ecosystem, including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for AI models, model deployment, and model monitoring.
