Position Overview 

The Autodesk Developer Enablement Team empowers internal and external developers to seamlessly integrate Autodesk solutions across Desktop and the Web. We are seeking a motivated Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India, and be a part of our journey in building the next generation platform.

You will be part of a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, building, owning, and delivering various components, services, and frameworks, while collaborating with teams across multiple locations.

Responsibilities 

• Design, build, test and release desktop clients, components, and frameworks. 
• Align with team goals that connect to the wider organization goals. 
• Mentor, guide and collaborate with other team members across geos. 

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field 
• 7-12 years of software engineering experience 
• Strong C++ programming skills and experience developing frameworks and desktop applications 
• Ability to multi-task between complex projects 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Excellent problem-solving abilities 
• Enjoys working collaboratively in a team with high trust 
• Experience with Scrum and agile processes will be a bonus 
• Technology stack: C++, SQLite, JavaScript
• Familiarity with secure engineering practices 
• Cross-platform development experience with Windows, Mac and Linux will be a bonus.
