There has never been a better time to join EQ.Team: EQ India Operations Innovation Reports to: Team LeaderRoleThe Information Developer collaborates with EUC teams, business subject matter experts, project managers and other project stakeholders to build relationships across the Group to fulfil the documentation needs. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing user guides, standard operating procedures, and governance documents in support of successful system or module implementations on a defined project.Business FunctionEQ India Operations team work closely with the EQ Group functions across UK, US and Amsterdam to provide operations support to Shareholder Solutions, Pensions Solutions, Investment Services, Employee Benefit Solutions, KYC Operations, Customer Experience Centre, Reconciliations, and Innovation. This service is delivered from our offices in India based out of Chennai and Bangalore.Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational user guides and procedures.
- Create operational user guides and procedures from multiple resources, include but not limited to, documentation provided by the business, process mapping, SME interviews, current systems, new business operating models and other types of material.
- Develop operational user guides and procedures using required company branding standards.
- Organize material and complete materials according to company standards relating to order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts to ensure that operational user guides and procedures accurately reflect new processes resulting from the system or module implementations.
- Work closely with the delivery teams using an Agile delivery methodology.
- Design prototypes and iterate to full product features for any new EUC project undertaken by the innovation team.
- Identify and deliver product and process improvements.
- Own and develop relationships with a wide range of EQ stakeholders.
Competencies and Experience
- Proven experience working in a technical writing position.
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in technical writing / business analyst role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in working with Canva, PowerBI and other industry leading BI tools.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Visio application.
- Basic understanding of technologies, such as VBA, Python, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to translate high-level requirements into specific and meaningful development specifications.
- Able to prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent leadership and team building.
- Able to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions.
- Must be able to effectively read, write and speak English.
