We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Data & Insights to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-making and strategic initiatives within the organization. The Manager of Data & Insights will lead a team of data science and BI analysts and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and relevance. This role requires a strong background in data analytics, proficiency in statistical analysis tools and AI/ML concepts, and excellent communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the data science and BI team in collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights. 

  • Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies to ensure efficiency and accuracy. 

  • Deliver on pricing Annual Operating plan through surfacing insights to improve margins and revenue. 

  • Build and maintain generative pricing recommendations and insights based on vast datasets and market dynamics using advanced algorithms and machine learning models.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify data-driven solutions. 

  • Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable recommendations for business improvement. 

  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and performance indicators. 

  • Conduct thorough data quality assessments and implement measures to address any discrepancies or anomalies. 

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Generative AI and data analytics and apply them to enhance our data capabilities. 

  • Strong project management skills. 

  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development. 

  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and other channels. 

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical standards in data handling and analysis. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree preferred. 

  • 8+ years of proven experience in data science and analysis with a focus on generating actionable insights. 

  • Entrepreneurial and a start-up mindset. 

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages. 

  • Experience with Generative AI concepts. 

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team. 

  • Knowledge of data governance principles and practices. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
