PROCUREMENT FINANCE ANALYST
Role Profile
As a Procurement Finance Analyst, we require an expert Supporting the Procurement team focusing financials; their performance & productivity impact to the organization. You will be a key contributor to all aspects of monthly Actuals, monthly forecast and annual Forecast/Plan exercises that the Supply Chain undertakes and will ensure the foundations of financial management are maintained and key stakeholders are provided with the information they need when they need it as well as perform ad-hoc analysis to support the delivery of supply chain targets.
This role serves as an excellent opportunity giving the successful candidate an overview of the Procurement & Productivity initiative as well as an excellent network enabling a move to a more senior role in supply chain finance.
Major Accountabilities
- Minimum 3+ years – 7yrs in Control/ Costing principles & management of EU procurement cost.
- EU market management including Siera reporting, Cerps, Bison journals/adjustments etc. for monthly Actuals and Forecast/Plan exercises and submitting LE/Actual/plan submission to Siera.
- Preparation and maintenance of the monthly standard decks including expected landing, WD6 Forecast, commodity and MPR decks.
- Strong Monthly journals & presentations.
- Consolidation of actuals and Forecast reporting for the BU (e.g., P&L, latest weekly financials) and variance analysis vs CMF/Plan/Previous year.
- Liaison with commodity directors, F4G(Fuel for Growth) tea, SPM, regional & BU team for forecast, variance analysis & actual result on the details/explanations.
- Drive EU QSC productivity drive to deliver the plan.
- Support to Procurement Finance Lead for the preparation and consolidation of the monthly deck for the review with the Region.
- Support in 3-1 UP2 and Planning activities including preparation of decks, consolidations, and presentations to the Region.
- Creation of non-standard financial analysis, presentation of trends, identification of insight and offering sound, financially based recommendations. Supported with both internal and external information based on benchmarking. Work as part of a cross functional team to build the opportunity and drive to execution.
- Support to QSC EU finance teams relating to the annual standards setting exercise.
- Ah-hoc project work on an as needed basis to support the QSC EU Finance.
Basic qualifications:
- University degree e.g. CA, CWA, MBA Finance/ Financials, Accounting, Economy, or related discipline
- Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
- Supply chain finance experience with understating of Supply Chain P&L
- Experience in using SAP or other tools like Bison, CERPS, Siera including Analysis for Office reports.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- Used to working in a fast-pace changing environment
- Self-starter / willing to take initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
- Learning agility
