About the RoleWe’re building scalable, reliable payment systems that power seamless financial experiences. As transaction volumes grow, reconciliation accuracy and data integrity become critical to product trust and performance.
We’re looking for a Product Intern – Reconciliation & Payments who’s excited to work with transaction data, uncover discrepancies, and improve financial workflows. You’ll collaborate across Product, Finance, and Engineering, gaining hands-on exposure to payment systems and data-driven decision-making.
What You’ll Do- Support daily reconciliation across internal systems, banks, and payment partners
- Analyze large datasets using SQL & Excel/Sheets to identify inconsistencies
- Perform root cause analysis: what broke, why, and how to fix it
- Build reports & dashboards to monitor transaction health
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve reconciliation logic & data accuracy
- Identify and automate repetitive workflows using Python / spreadsheets
- Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, debugging datasets)
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivots, lookups, cleaning)
- Structured problem-solving ability with real examples (projects/internships)
- Proven ownership mindset (end-to-end execution)
- Clear communication—can explain insights and fixes effectively
- Exposure to fintech/payments (UPI, cards, wallets, ledgers, settlements)
- Basic Python (Pandas, scripting for automation)
- Experience working with product teams or building features
- Familiarity with BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong systems thinking (ledger ↔ bank ↔ partner reconciliation)
Students or recent grads in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related fields with experience in data analysis, product, fintech, or operations.
