Product Designer - Design Systems ( Remote )

The Role

The Product Designer will help elevate our visual style and to improve the workflow of our product. Reporting to our Product Design Manager, you’ll be using your design chops to build and define our product for diverse use cases at the highest level of complexity.

Responsibilities

• Design System Development & Maintenance:
• Develop, implement, and maintain Sprinto’s comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all product interfaces.
• Establish and document design guidelines, patterns, and best practices to streamline design processes and enhance UI coherence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of design system components.
• Interface Design & Usability Enhancement:
• Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for complex B2B SaaS applications, focusing on user needs and business objectives.
• Conducted UI audits to identify areas for improvement and enhance layout, typography, spacing, and accessibility.
• Ensure responsiveness and adaptability of interfaces across various devices and resolutions.
• User Research & Testing:
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes based on user feedback and research.
• Test and evaluate designs through usability testing and iterate based on findings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers to ensure a cohesive product experience.
• Advocate for user-centric design principles and contribute to product strategy discussions.
• Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to elevate design quality.

Requirements

• Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: 4+ years in designing enterprise business applications or B2B SaaS platforms.
• Design Systems: Proven expertise in creating, documenting, and maintaining design systems.
• UI/UX Principles: Strong command of UI/UX principles, visual design, typography, and interaction design.
• Design Tools: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing design systems and high-quality interface design work.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Design Libraries: Experience working with design libraries like Ant Design, Material UI, or custom component systems.
• Front-End Development: Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, React components) is a plus.
• User Research: Demonstrated ability to conduct user research and apply findings to design decisions.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
