Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable. About Account and Profile:

To enhance streamlining of account onboarding and management processes and feature discoverability, addressing the need for secure, personalized interactions and transparent data management, ultimately driving superior guest experiences and business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess: Conduct technical deep-dive reviews of front end (apps and Web) engineering design, data flows and architecture to evaluate for Account and Profile opportunities. Identify issues and provide mitigation strategies and approvals pre-launch, to ensure all products and services meet the high Authentication security bar when they are released to customers.

  • Guide: Partner with engineering and UX team in all phases of development as a subject matter expert on Account and Profile to overall feature design.

  • Attest: Ensure our products and connected services comply with all internal privacy standards and pass all privacy bars, as well as any other legal regulations, and develop customized implementation guidelines

  • Anticipate: Understand the competitive landscape and provide proactive Account and Profile guidance to feature teams to build future-proof solutions.

  • Innovate: Propose new features and functionalities providing maximum transparency and choice in data control to guests helping build positively towards overall retail experience while meeting compliance standards

  • Drive to resolution: Be able to identify and drive decisions by appropriately escalating issues by partnering with leadership, Legal and privacy orgs around the company.

  • Implement: Translate new policies and requirements into UX requirements and drive the implementation of those requirements across the engineering teams.

Role overview:
As a Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will lead a product and work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders. You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles, and partner with product teams across the organization to help them achieve their goals while pursuing and completing yours.

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience, preferably in Account and Profile management/ Identity management.

  • Proficient in writing use cases, BRDs, roadmapping, etc

  • Experience developing and driving complex, cross-group projects.

  • Proven experience working with legal and regulatory affairs teams translating Account and Profile requirements and regulation into actionable UX specification for that account for UX design

  • Proven track record delivering across organizational boundaries in a highly matrix model and sustaining strong partnerships within and outside the organization. Ability to drive decisions, bring clarity to ambiguity, influence leadership, and manage business outcomes with pace.

  • Strong communication skills that can tailor content and concepts based on audience (internal stakeholders and with external customers), leadership levels, and disciplines.
