About Optimizer

Optimizer is Razorpay’s payment orchestrator that can be used as a single-tenant or a multi-tenant offering by merchants. Optimizer as a product enables merchants to achieve best in class success rate at the right cost by routing their payments to multiple payment aggregators and gateways. With the latest shift in the market from thrid party routers to hosted routers, Optimizer plays a key role in helping merchants design their own orchestrators and extract the goodness available from Razorpay’s innovation.

About the role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager who wishes to grow into a subject matter expert and can work with ease on complex and ambiguousambiguos problem statements. Razorpay is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to revolutionizing financial solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking individual who is excited about scaling up a product that solves core merchant issues. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our 1-10 product development that solves core merchant use cases. In this role, you would need to understand and assess the complex workflows related to payment processing, payment integrations, pre and post payment flows. 

You will be a good fit for this role if 

• You have 2 to 4 years of experience delivering impact in core platform products 
• You understand technology, and love customer-first & Impact-oriented thinking
• You are known as the person with ‘attention to detail’
• You love complex problem solving and are hands-on with data analytics
• Detail orientation come naturally to you

Job Description

• Devise Product Strategy: Define both long term strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact.
• Conceptualize new solutions: Product Conceptualization with a problem first, data-driven and test & iterate approach. 
• Build products: Collaborate with Engineering and Design to build products that customers love. Produce high-quality product specifications and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver products and features on time.
• Launch products: Draft and execute a go-to-market plan for internal customers. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your given area of focus.
