Job Title

Product Manager

The Product Manager, NDC[X] will be responsible for enabling travel sellers to manage the airline's order in the Amadeus ecosystem (booking, issuance, servicing)

The product manager NDC[X] has the End to end accountability of the product lifecycle of an epic or initiative, serving several customers, maintaining platform approach and following NDC[X] program priority.

In this role, you will:

Have the E2E accountability of the product lifecycle of epics / initiatives on NDC Order servicing.

  • Analyze solution offerings of competitors and define the strategic positioning of the product in alignment with Product Marketing Management
  • Work closely with Product Marketing Management, Operations (Customer Service/Delivery/Go To Market) and Customer Solution Expert teams to define priorities and releasing plan for new products or upgrades
  • Analyze impacts on the end to end flow for new epics (Webservice/backend, Selling Platform connect, Cytric, billing…)
  • Ensure solutions (to be) released meet the user needs and product readiness guidelines
  • Partnering with relevant stakeholders to build the backlog and roadmap in your area of responsibility

Product Development

  • Serve as product expert in the review and implementation of product initiatives
  • Create and manage the documentation of business requirements ensuring delivery in line with client and market commitments
  • Partner with engineering to provide leadership in an Agile development process, setting scope, and ensuring effective prioritization of features & stories, managing daily progress, and defining acceptance criteria
  • Articulate & Develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements, and articulate them into new product concepts or upgrades
  • Participate in Agile events (PI planning, System demos…) when applicable / required
  • Effectively communicating the change which includes but not limited to building and publishing Release Notes, presenting the features of customer or business stakeholders and answering their queries on a release.

  • Good technical understanding of WBS interfaces
  • Always interested in new technologies to make our products better
  • Strong skills in internal and external communication.
  • Professional proficiency in English. 
  • Adept in stakeholder management
