Role Summary

The Product Operations Analyst supports the global product team through data analysis and insight reporting, process maintenance, and tooling. They will ensure that the product teams can access all relevant product data points and insights to drive efficiency and improve product decision making.

Core Duties / Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the appropriate systemisation of all leading and lagging product related metrics
  • Collating and enriching qualitative product data
  • Collating and enriching quantitative product data
  • Perform statistical analysis and data modelling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in our product data
  • Providing actionable insight to the product team
  • Work closely with our data team and providers to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility of product data
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in product data analysis
  • Manage and master the product team tool set
  • Maintaining processes used within the product team
  • Maintaining templates used within the product team
  • Providing insight on ways of working
  • Streamline internal workflows, processes, and tools throughout each stage of the product lifecycle
  • Ensure good governance is adhered to for our product catalogue
  • Support Product Managers/Owners on their production of communication material relating to product strategy and updates
  • Scale product knowledge material across the business

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:

  • Proven experience in product operations desired
  • Understanding of financial concepts, products, and market desired
  • Experience working with data essential
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction essential
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik essential
  • Production of high-quality artefacts and insight reporting essential

Functional Skills:

  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Appreciation of agile ways of working
  • Proficiency with tooling
  • Process optimization
