Job Description

Opportunity Summary

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Product Owner with 3+ years of experience working with remote software development teams.

You'll work closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Customer Success, and Support to translate customer needs and product strategy into clear, actionable work for development teams. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, building trust across teams and keeping stakeholders aligned as priorities evolve. From new features and platform improvements to customer-driven enhancements and technical investments, you'll help ensure the right work gets delivered at the right time.

You'll play a key role in managing backlog priorities, driving delivery across multiple parallel initiatives, and helping bring structure and clarity to complex problems.

Join us to help shape the future of enterprise search, knowledge discovery, and AI-powered experiences used by organizations around the world.

What would you do?

  • Collaborate with Product Management to translate roadmap initiatives, customer requirements, and business objectives into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned to customer value, business objectives, technical feasibility, and roadmap commitments.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies to ensure development teams have a clear understanding of priorities, scope, and expected outcomes.
  • Work closely with Engineering and QA teams to clarify requirements, answer questions, and remove ambiguity throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with teams responsible for integrations, connectors, and core platform capabilities to understand dependencies, assess impact, and ensure successful delivery of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Define clear acceptance criteria and validate delivered functionality against agreed requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with key teams to understand customer feedback, production issues, and implementation challenges, ensuring they are appropriately prioritized.
  • Balance roadmap initiatives, customer commitments, technical debt, and defects when making prioritization recommendations.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and escalate delivery risks, scope changes, dependencies, and blockers before they impact delivery commitments.
  • Ensure backlog priorities, requirements, delivery progress, and key decisions remain visible and clearly understood by stakeholders.
  • Investigate complex product, technical, and customer challenges, working across teams to identify practical and scalable solutions.
  • Maintain clear documentation and traceability of requirements, decisions, and scope changes throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate effectively across Product Management, Engineering, QA, Support, Services, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful delivery of roadmap commitments.
  • Challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and continuously seek opportunities to improve both product outcomes and delivery effectiveness.
