We are seeking a Product Owner who is accountable for the full end to end lifecycle of portfolio of products, specifically for new strategic clients including vision, charter, planning, requirements, development, testing, integration (FADV or partner systems), deployment, usage, adoption, client satisfaction and continuous improvement. The Product Owner is the facilitator and planner for all aspects of strategic clients onboarding and will drive the activities of the corresponding teams who will build, integrate or enhance any new or existing products in their respective portfolio aligned to the product roadmap using Agile methodology. Product Owner will co-ordinate & initiate appropriate vertical / product strategy coupled with the right SWAT POD with QA, Scrum Master, Architects and Developers. They will maximize product reusability and repeatability & focus on revenue growth to enable new logo strategic client acquisitions, improved customer experience & teamwork.

What You'll Do 
Responsibilities:

  • Be the voice of the customer. Listen to the market (internal and external users) and clearly define the market problem. Use market information to drive short and long term product roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success managers, solution experts, technical experts and partners across multiple functions and geographic locations to present and position current and future product offerings.
    Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate business requirements, breaking them down into epics, themes, and features and creating actionable user stories with acceptance criteria for the design team to conceptualize and the development team to implement
  • Validate specifications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they are consistent with articulated business requirements and deliver the expected results.
  • Participate in sprint planning meetings to help the team understand the product backlog items.
  • Participate in the Daily Standup Meetings,
  • Conduct regular Grooming and Effort Estimation meetings.
  • Ensure the development team has a clear understanding of the requirements and priorities.
  • Monitor progress and adjust priorities as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Need to test the new features/fix for defects getting released during each UAT cycle.
  • Document new features and communicate functionality to end users
  • Manage and own end-to-end product lifecycle for your product including prioritization of bugs/enhancements along with building and launching new offerings.
  • Track product performance metrics to ensure we are meeting or exceeding targets, pivot product roadmap direction as necessary.
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary contact and subject matter expert for the product.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product roadmap is aligned with stakeholder needs. Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and understood by all stakeholders.

What You May Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology field, advanced business degree (MBA preferred).
  • Three or more years related experience in Business Analysis, Product Management or related role, preferably in a global, public organization, including practical agile experience.
  • Ideally should have been in a BA role for some time before moving into product owner. This will be an added advantage.
  • 2+ year’s practical experience with process mapping tools to describe user journeys.
  • 2+ year’s practical experience with the documentation of process or product requirement
  • Strong Technical skills - can speak with and motivate the development team with clear ideas and thoughts.
  • Familiarity with product and software development tools, techniques and agile methodologies
  • Must be proficient in PPT and FADV road mapping tools - JIRA, Trello, and others.
  • Solid grasp of web design principles and an understanding of front-end web technologies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Product Owner Certification (CSPO or Pragmatic Marketing) a plus
  • Customer focused.
  • Great team player with respect for others, yet able to work independently.
  • Inquisitive and willing to learn.
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze data from a variety of sources, identify issues, draw conclusions, and craft solutions.
  • Understands both the technical and business sides of the product and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications who is comfortable presenting to senior leadership and key clients.
  • Strong listening and question-based knowledge gathering skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, relationship building and negotiating skills.
  • Track record in building and launching profitable products.
  • Experience with day in the life client visits and synthesizing all market data into meaningful requirements in order to take the product to the next level.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the product development process and team efficiency.
