What You Will Be Doing
The Project Coordinator is responsible for facilitating Agile development practices and ensuring the smooth operation of Scrum ceremonies within software development teams. You will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software products. As a Project Coordinator, you will remove impediments, promote best practices, and help teams achieve their goals efficiently.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Facilitate Scrum Events: Plan and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and other Agile meetings.
- Enable Agile Practices: Coach the development team and stakeholders on Agile principles, ensuring proper application of Scrum or other Agile frameworks.
- Remove Obstacles: Identify and remove impediments or roadblocks to team progress, facilitating solutions and enabling self-organization within the team.
- Improve Team Efficiency: Use Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts) to track progress and suggest improvements to enhance team performance and workflow.
- Ensure Transparency: Ensure transparency in the development process through consistent updates, reports, and progress tracking tools like JIRA, Confluence, or other project management software.
- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement continuous improvements in Agile processes, tools, and team dynamics.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications such as CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master) preferred.
Experience:
- Total 10+ yrs experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Solid experience with Agile development practices, Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies.
- Previous experience in a software development role (developer, QA, etc.) is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and hands-on experience with JIRA or other Agile tools.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to manage team dynamics and foster a collaborative environment.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities to address challenges and promote high performance.
- Understanding of modern software development practices, such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced Scrum Master certification (e.g., A-CSM, CSP-SM).
- Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).
- Experience working in environments with distributed or remote teams.
