The Opportunity
“Come join the Analytics Workbench team in a hands-on technical role where you’ll be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of developing and deploying predictive models in the cloud. This role provides the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of analytics, machine learning, cloud computing and deployment” – Director, Software Quality Assurance.
What You’ll Contribute
- Possess excellent testing, programming, basic predictive analytics, and problem-solving skills with expertise in Java-related tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely in a small team environment with architects, software developers, data scientists, product management, user experience designers, and software quality engineers/testers.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies in related areas, demonstrating a willingness to expand technical knowledge.
- Serve as a strong hands-on individual contributor to the testing effort.
- Assist in mentoring junior engineers on the team.
- Have some experience with cloud computing, big data, machine learning, or other business intelligence tools.
What We’re Seeking
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance experience.
- 4+ experience in an object-oriented programming language such as Java
- Hands-on experience In UI Automation with Selenium
- Hands-on experience in REST API Testing & automation, REST-Assured
- Hands-on experience in manual testing of UI products related to analytics applications like SAS, R, IBM Cognos, Matlab, etc
- Should have knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience using software bug tracking tools like JIRA
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
