Designs and maintains automated testing frameworks and scripts using Playwright and TypeScript or JavaScript. Performs functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, API, performance, and backend testing. Collaborates with development and product teams in Agile ceremonies, identifies and tracks defects, integrates tests into CI/CD pipelines, and improves automation coverage and QA practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated test cases
- Build and maintain automation frameworks
- Develop and execute test scripts using Playwright
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman
- Validate web applications and backend services for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives)
- Identify defects, track issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines
- Continuously improve automation coverage and QA best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA (Automation)
- Hands-on experience with Playwright + or TypeScript/JavaScript (Must have)
- Experience in API testing (Postman or similar tools)
- Knowledge of web application testing (UI + Backend)
- Understanding of test frameworks and automation design patterns
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Good To Have:
- Experience in Selenium WebDriver (Good to have)
- Experience in Java (Good to have)
- QA manual Experience will be plus
- Experience in e-commerce or web portal applications
- Knowledge of database testing (SQL)
- Experience with Git or version control systems
- Exposure to performance testing tools
- Familiarity with React.js / Node.js based applications
