We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to drive quality and reliability across developer-focused products and platforms. As part of a fast-paced engineering team, you will work closely with developers and product stakeholders to identify quality risks, automate testing processes, and improve release confidence. RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Create, execute, and optimize functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases for web applications, APIs, and developer tools.
- Validate API functionality, workflows, and system behavior to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand product architecture, requirements, and release goals.
- Review, maintain, and improve test coverage to ensure product quality across releases.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution while ensuring timely feedback to development teams.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into deployment workflows.
- Participate in quality planning, test strategy discussions, and release readiness activities.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and proactively identify opportunities to improve system stability.
- Champion quality best practices and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement across the engineering organization.
- 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and TypeScript for building scalable automation frameworks.
- Experience testing APIs, developer-facing products, SDKs, platforms, or command-line tools.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, automation strategies, and defect management processes.
- Experience maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
- Ability to write, review, and execute comprehensive test cases with a strong focus on reliability and user experience.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
- Comfortable working independently in collaborative and asynchronous environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and quality teams.
