Job Title: QA Automation taster (SDET)
Job Description:
We are hiring a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in testing Java-based microservices and payment domain applications. The role involves manual and automated testing, API validation, and ensuring high-quality backend releases in an Agile setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for APIs and microservices.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured.
- Validate backend data through SQL/PLSQL queries on Oracle/PostgreSQL databases.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams.
- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo).
- Work with Kafka, cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and version control systems (Git).
- Log and manage defects using JIRA or Rally, ensuring timely resolution.
Required Skills:
- 6–9 years of experience in QA/Automation Testing.
- Strong expertise in Java, API testing, SQL, and test automation frameworks.
- Experience in the Payments or Financial Services domain preferred.
