  • WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer - Gaming to ensure the highest quality of our cognitive training games. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in identifying bugs, glitches, and performance issues, while collaborating closely with developers and designers to test new features and updates. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience in mobile and web game testing, proficiency in bug tracking tools like Jira, and a keen eye for subtle gameplay issues.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play and test cognitive training games to identify bugs, glitches, and performance issues.
  • Document and report issues clearly to developers, providing detailed steps to reproduce bugs.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and designers to understand game mechanics, features, and test new updates.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that fixed bugs remain fixed and that new features do not introduce additional issues.
  • Provide feedback on gameplay mechanics, user experience, and the overall cognitive challenge.
  • Conduct cross-platform testing on mobile devices (iOS, Android) and web browsers to ensure games function across different operating systems and devices.
  • Follow test plans and ensure that all game elements, including visuals, audio, and interactive elements, work as intended.

  • WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years of experience in game testing, preferably in mobile and web environments. (and overall 4+ years of experience)
  • Proficient with bug tracking tools like Jira.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify and document subtle issues that may affect gameplay or user experience.
  • Basic programming knowledge (or awareness of Unity game environment) is a plus 
  • A passion for gaming, especially brain-training or puzzle-based games
