Role Description
Core Payments IT is running large-scale transformation projects in the areas of Core Payments and Core Banking. The projects involve renovation of the application landscape, building modular architecture, delivering new products and services, and creating foundation for new business/revenue models. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for full lifecycle of quality assurance tasks working in close collaboration with FAs and other development teams.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Automated tests supervision, creation, maintenance, and execution
- Test issues and risks management, reporting for compliance and audit purposes.
- Test environments maintenance
- Participating with development team in release management and process improvement
- You will be involved in the Software Development Lifecycle starting from analyzing requirements, maintaining test cases, developing test automation features and testing software.
- Functional, regression and integration test cases design
- Design & develop automation tests for the platform that has multiple different integrations including on-prem and Cloud (GCP)
- Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT): setting up the environment, showing users how to use the platform, gathering issues, and tracking their resolution
Your Skills and experience
- Proven experience in testing & quality assurance
- Skilled in test automation using Java programming language.
- Strong in using test automation frameworks like Junit5, Cucumber, Serenity, Selenium, REST Assured, and Playwright.
- Experience in test automation of APIs is a must. Experience in Postman is an additional benefit.
- Good understanding of Source Code Control systems (GIT is preferable)
- Experience in working on any one of the cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of QA processes and SDLC practices.
- Pro-active team player with good communication skills
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment including agile tooling and methodology.
