Who We're Looking For
This is a developing level engineering position focused on design, development, troubleshooting, and analysis of Syniverse products. The System Analyst Technology is responsible for defining, participating in, and supporting all required testing activities to ensure all testing process controls are adhered to and completed in a timely manner.

Some of What You'll Do
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and consulting to Development and Product Support teams on project activities.
- Develop test cases that cover all project testable requirements.
- Manage and deliver assigned tasks.
- Communicate to team leads and project stakeholders current status as needed and blocking impediments as soon as possible.
- Analyze, develop, and manage test cases using Zephyr Test Management plugin for Jira.
- Consult with Development and Production Support to identify test data.
- Properly diagnose test results and document product defects.
- Support test environment configuration activities.
- Execute test scripts and cases and initiate modifications if necessary.
- Provide daily test statuses on testing progress and issues.
- Actively participate in product and project team meetings.
- Provide input on training requirements and available classes for the Test team.
- Keep abreast of business needs and stay current with technology trends.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of Software Engineering experience In the Quality Assurance testing domain.
- 1+ year working in an Agile development methodology culture.
- Understand and can execute formal software testing methodologies.
- Integration testing.
- Module and Functional testing.
- Regression testing.
- Performance testing experience is a plus.
- Conduct document inspections & reviews.
- Scripting and automated software testing tools.
- 3-6 years experience working with industry accepted testing tools.
- 3-6 years of API testing
- 3-6 years of Backend testing
- Experience or willingness to learn Linux file manipulation skills (create, copy, move, delete, rename, and edit).
- Able to develop basic test automation using Java or Python
- Jira and Confluence knowledge preferred.
