QA Engineer (Manual Testing )

What You'll Do:

• Own end-to-end manual testing for web and mobile products, from feature testing to release sign-off
• Write and execute test cases, test scenarios, and regression suites to ensure smooth releases
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend flows, responses, and data
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to understand requirements and catch issues early
• Identify, log, and track bugs using JIRA, ensuring clear reproduction steps and quick resolution
• Test across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms using tools like BrowserStack and LambdaTest
• Participate actively in Agile rituals including sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retros
• Help with UAT, release validation, and production sanity checks
• Analyze logs and dashboards to assist in debugging and improving product stability

What We're Looking For:

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing
• Strong fundamentals in STLC, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum
• Experience testing web and mobile applications (Android and iOS)
• Comfortable with API testing (REST APIs, status codes, request/response validation)
• Experience using JIRA or similar tools for defect tracking
• Exposure to functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing
• Basic understanding of SQL and database validations
• Clear communication, attention to detail, and a strong ownership mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup culture and willing to roll up your sleeves

Good to Have:

• Exposure to log and monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, Mixpanel, or CleverTap
• Basic knowledge of Java or API automation (REST Assured)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Experience with mobile debugging tools (Android Studio, Charles, Proxyman)
• Prior experience with high-scale consumer products
• Interest in mentoring junior testers or improving QA processes
• Startup experience, or the hunger to learn in one
