What is the job like ?
- Understand the behavior of complex web/mobile-based applications and apply that knowledge to testing
- Contribute towards the overall test strategy and test plan of the product.
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Execute test cases manually and analyze results
- Report bugs and errors to development teams,
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Who should apply for this role
- B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc.IT/BCA degree in computer sciences or equivalent field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in manual testing, design and execution
- Experience working as a tester or in a similar position in Web application
- Experience designing and executing manual test plans and scripts for complex systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a given point in time.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of various testing (Smoke, Sanity, Regression)
- Fair knowledge of API Testing and Mobile testing
