What you will do
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of the mabl test automation platform
- Provide feedback for product enhancements based on results of testing
- Use mabl’s own AI-powered, low-code testing capabilities to optimize quality in our own product
- Collaborate with quality engineers, software developers, and product managers to plan and design testing activities
- Analyze and report results of quality-related activities to stakeholders
- Improve and enhance test data and data shapes as necessary for in-depth testing
* This is a full-time, open-ended (not fixed-length) position.
* This position is fully remote. Mabl does not have any physical offices in India.
* This role requires daily overlap during US-Eastern working hours. It requires that you be working from 6:30-9:30pm IST. Working hours for other parts of the day are flexible.
What you will bring to the table
- You have 5+ years of testing experience with external facing web applications or mobile apps
- You have experience with working with US-based engineering teams
- You are able to work online 6:30-9:30pm IST (9am to noon US-Eastern)
- You are a skilled manual and exploratory tester who empathizes with end-users
- You have demonstrable experience creating and executing test plans
- You have a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
- You have experience using command line tools and utilities to assist with testing
- You have a demonstrable interest in test automation and how it improves quality for high-velocity software development
- You have some software development experience which will enable you, for example, Playwright test scripts
- You are an effective communicator; we are a small team, and you will be involved in every aspect
- You are excited to learn new technologies and contribute wherever needed
