Job Description: SUPPLY CHAIN QUALITY – Source Inspection for Make in India – Quality Inspectors
Focus is on Quality Control experience, problem solving - root cause analysis, Inspection, SPC (Statistical Process Control), MSA (Measurement System Analysis),
Skills – Use of various Measurement equipment, Inspection of parts/assemblies, GD&T
MAIN ACTIVITIES
-
Source Product and System Inspection at manufacturer premises in the frame of C295 – Make in India project.
-
At an initial phase main products to be inspected will be metallic and composite details parts but then the main effort will be focused in assembly of Aerostructures.

Understand and translate complex drawings into inspection plan
-
Final inspection of detail parts.
-
Inspection of assembly process of Aerostuctures at specific points defined by the Purchaser.
-
Final inspection of Aerostructures assemblies.
-
Inspection of work in progress as per CPB agreed with internal stakeholders.
-
Define and execute inspection reports.
-
Remedial actions follow-up of non-conformities coming from inspections performed.
-
Non conformity report creation in SAP when applicable.
-
Track and report KPI’s of inspections performed.
Professional skills:
-
6 to 10 years’ Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably Aerospace & Defense / Automotive
-
Expert in usage of various measurement equipment for inspection of parts/assemblies(details of various measurement equipment in Annex-1),
-
Exposure to inspection activities of Aerostructure assemblies preferred
-
Expert in interpretation of drawings, GD&T(certification preferred)
-
Exposure to CMM measurement method preferred
-
Root cause analysis and countermeasures
-
To operate with a high degree of independence whilst working within the supply chain
-
Good communication skills to influence decision making with suppliers/internal customers
-
International/multi-functional team experience
-
Fluency in English.
