THE ROLE 

As a SDET, you will join a collaborative team tasked with creating an innovative web application that will enable Pricing managers to define and maintain product and charge taxonomy globally. This team will have the freedom to select their preferred technologies and employ agile methodologies throughout the development process. 

THE CANDIDATE 

This is a greenfield project, which means we are starting from scratch. Therefore, we are seeking a candidate who is comfortable shaping our architecture, influencing the team's ways of working, and delivering code within tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: 

MUST 

• 5+ years’ experience automating API and UI tests using JavaScript and Java 

• Experience with Playwright or Cypress 

• Hands on ability to write integration, system and E2E testing  

• Demonstrable experience implementing test strategy and test management  

SHOULD 

• Proficient in Git and building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub actions) 

• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) 

• Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, K6, Akamai Cloud Test)  

• Experience with TDD, and BDD frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Cucumber) 

• Proficiency in writing database queries for testing/validation (e.g., Mongo) 

• Understanding of security testing concepts and tools (e.g., Blackduck, Sonar)
