About Our Team:

About the Role:

As a Quality Test Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in enhancing QA methodologies and ensuring compliance. You will collaborate with management to improve quality and process standards, resulting in on-time and efficient delivery of systems. 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the basics of DB queries 

  • Work with core Java 

  • Utilize automation tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, or similar 

  • Conduct smoke and functional testing 

  • Gain basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner 

  • Use JIRA and follow SDLC processes 

  • Apply your understanding of QA methodologies and process improvement 

  • Contribute to the software development process with attention to detail 

Requirements:

  • Participate in process improvement and compliance efforts to deliver high-quality software products and services on time, within budget, and to specifications 

  • Assist in enhancing methodologies for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting 

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices 

  • Maintain a framework for record retention to support internal and external IT audits 

  • Work across teams to enhance quality functional testing by identifying and implementing initiatives that improve capability and efficiency 

  • Perform all other duties as assigned
