Job Summary:
As a Quant Analytics at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking- Data and Analytics, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be Responsible for code execution as part of Model Governance
- Implement Model controls such as performance monitoring & quality checks
- Execute Model as per agreed frequency
- Create detailed documentation on above Modeling activities for review by stakeholders
- Harden & automate code
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Model Controls/Model Governance/Model Validation/MRGR
- Experience of hands-on data analysis using Python & Pyspark
- Self-sufficiency in querying and extracting data from Enterprise databases (Teradata, etc.), Hadoop platforms or AWS/Azure
- Ability to create project plans and track project status, & experience in Stakeholder management
- Excellent communicator able to convey information in an understandable, compelling, and persuasive manner to business partners and senior executives.
- Experience in developing and implementing data science models
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Understanding of spatial data science and GIS applications (e.g., Esri, QGIS, PostGIS) preferred, but not required.
- Financial services background preferred, but not required
- Financial services background preferred, but not required
- Domain specific expertise including fraud/risk analytics, bank operations, and distribution strategy preferred, but not required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as business, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, information system, or mathematics; Master's degree in a STEM field preferred
