Job Description:
We are looking for a Manual Testing Engineer with strong SQL expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in functional testing, database testing, and writing SQL queries to validate data integrity. Exposure to automation testing is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct database testing using SQL queries to verify data consistency.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Ensure quality standards are met before software releases.
- Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar is a plus.
Required Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong expertise in SQL queries and database testing.
- Experience in functional, regression, system, and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Exposure to automation frameworks is a plus.
