As an Operations Analyst within the Documentation Management team, you will be responsible for reviewing legal agreements such as ISDA and CSA, extracting legal and financial parameters, and indexing them within our systems. You will also work on regulatory projects related to the Markets industry. This role requires flexibility with shifts and a strong focus on productivity and quality. Your performance will be measured by the quality of your work, and your ability to work effectively with our legal, business, operations, and technology partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review legal documentation and input key parameters into JP Morgan's systems.
- Handle legal agreements such as ISDAs and CSAs.
- Demonstrate flexibility with shifts, including periodic rotation.
- Identify issues and coordinate with internal functions like credit and legal for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with key partners in legal, business, operations, and technology to develop an efficient operating framework.
- Work closely with the regional Legal Operations Department, business, and other stakeholders.
- Focus on productivity and quality as key performance measures.
- Produce high-quality work to ensure success within the organization.
- Perform as a checker for all agreements/documents processed by the Documentation Management Operations (DMO) team.
- Engage graduates and post-graduates from disciplines such as BCOM, BBM, BBA, MBA, and LLB in the role of Operations Analyst.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Derivatives Master Agreements and trade-related documentation within an Investment Banking or Law Firm environment.
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of Derivative Legal documents such as ISDA and CSA.
- Exhibit proficiency in MS Office.
- Display strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and identify priority issues with an excellent execution mentality.
- Embrace a strong teamwork approach while also being able to execute tasks independently.
- Adopt a 'working to deadline' approach.
- Showcase strong organizational skills.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or above
