Drive regional mortgage business (LAP, HL, Affordable HL, Secured Business Loans) through branches and direct channels; lead ABDMs/BDMs, hire and train teams, hit targets, manage portfolio quality and delinquencies, ensure compliance, resolve escalations, and strengthen cross-sell and stakeholder relationships.
- The RBDM is responsible for driving the mortgage business (LAP, HL, Affordable HL, and Secured Business Loans) across a defined region through branches and direct channel.
- This includes managing a team of Area Business Development Managers and Business Development Managers, ensuring achievement of business targets, maintaining portfolio quality, and ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
Strategic & Managerial
- Drive regional business targets for LAP and HL products.
- Lead and manage a team of ABDMs and BDMs across multiple clusters.
- Ensure timely hiring, training, and productivity of the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure branch activation and engagement across the region.
- Monitor and improve portfolio quality and manage delinquencies.
Business Development
- Ensure consistent lead generation and file movement across mapped branches and direct channels.
- Drive cross-sell of insurance, liability, and third-party products.
- Strengthen relationships with key internal stakeholders (Branch Banking, Credit, Operations. Legal and Technical).
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit norms, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor documentation, PDDs, and disbursement hygiene.
- Resolve escalations and customer grievances in a timely manner.

Education: MBA (Any Specialization)
Experience: 10 - 15 years in mortgage lending with at least 2 years in a regional leadership role.
