Position Title: Regional Technology Specialist
Position Type: Regular - Full-Time

JOB PURPOSE:
As Regional Infrastructure Tech Specialist, you will be responsible for complex IT infrastructure operations support and executing the IT infrastructure projects to support the organization's business objectives and growth initiatives.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise in IT Infrastructure, networking, system administration, and effective communication abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directly provide onsite support or work with third party vendors to support a variety of IT hardware and software, such as, but not limited to: personal computer hardware/software and peripherals, mobile phones, network printers, server and network hardware, Warehouse Management equipment, computer room/network wiring closet facilities, and phone systems.
o Execute on the deployment of infrastructure components, including hardware procurement, installation, configuration, and testing, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and scalability.
o Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
o Configure, maintain and troubleshoot unified communication and modern workplace systems (meeting rooms, Microsoft voice etc.)
o Configure, maintain and troubleshoot end user devices such as PCs, Printers, Mobile devices, Hand Helds etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and system administrators, to execute project requirements as per alignment with local business needs, adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Develop a sustainable and productive working relationship with end users of all IS services.
• Conduct software testing and installation in support of application packing and deployment.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project team members, mentoring them in best practices and methodologies for infrastructure deployment.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers to procure necessary equipment, licenses, and support services for infrastructure operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures for infrastructure deployment processes, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of deployed infrastructure solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization, improvement, and scalability.
KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of total IT experience, and minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure operations and deployment in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong technical expertise in areas such as configuration, deployment and troubleshooting
o End user devices such as PCs, Printers, Mobile devices, Hand Helds etc.
o Network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
o Unified communication and modern workplace systems (meeting rooms, microsoft voice etc.)
• Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools, with the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and track progress against milestones and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Working experience on industry best practices and emerging trends in infrastructure and operations, including Cloud, AIOps, SRE, ITSM Maturity and automations. Relevant certifications (e.g., Cloud, Agile, ITIL, SRE) are a huge plus.
• Must have English communication skills (written and verbal).
