The Software Developer will enhance and modify software for clients, troubleshoot existing systems, and collaborate with teams to deliver solutions.
This position is fully remote.
You need to have a laptop to perform the job remotely.
The Software Developer will be responsible in developing software to accommodate any additional requirements for clients as well as modifying existing software that might contain errors or require an upgrade. He / She needs to be able to work in a team environment, work closely with Implementation Consultants and Project Managers and must be able to convey technical information in a language that is understood by non-technical individuals.
- Review current systems.
- Present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.
- Work closely with consultants.
- Produce detailed specifications and write the program codes.
- Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
- Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs.
- Verify and deploy programs and systems.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback.
- Awareness and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- To keep abreast and remain updated of existing and new technologies.
- Perform other duties as requested by the HOD.
- Strong experience with ABAP programming, including reports, forms, and workflows.
- Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and SAP Fiori development (if applicable).
- Experience with BAPI, IDoc, ALE, and RFC for system integration.
- Familiarity with SAP's module configuration (e.g., SAP SD, MM, FI, CO).
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code.
- Understanding of SAP's database and data model.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
