Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Automation QA Engineer with strong Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) domain experience to design, develop, and execute automated and manual test strategies for Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ testing, end-to-end quote-to-cash processes, test automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD integration. The candidate should be capable of understanding complex Salesforce configurations and translating business requirements into comprehensive automation test scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automation suites for Salesforce applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce CPQ solutions.
- Validate complete Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) business processes.
- Test Salesforce CPQ functionalities including:
- Product Catalog and Product Configuration
- Product Rules and Price Rules
- Discounting and Pricing
- Quote creation and configuration
- Quote Line Editor (QLE)
- Approvals and Advanced Approvals
- Contracting and Amendments
- Renewals
- Orders and Order Management
- Subscription and Asset Management
- Guided Selling
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Java, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
- Perform API and integration testing using REST/SOAP APIs and tools such as Postman.
- Validate integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems such as ERP, billing, payment, or middleware platforms.
- Create reusable automation frameworks and utilities to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Execute automated regression suites and analyze test results.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
- Perform root-cause analysis of application and automation failures.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, CPQ Consultants, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Maintain test data and test environments required for Salesforce CPQ testing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and release quality.
