Project & Program Management
  • Lead end-to-end SAP project delivery across initiation, design, build, testing, and go-live phases.
  • Manage scope, timeline, budget, risks, and dependencies for large-scale SAP analytics and data transformation programs.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and system integrators.
  • Drive Agile / SAFe delivery, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Ensure alignment with banking regulatory requirements (BCBS 239, IFRS 9, LCR, NSFR, AML, MIS reporting).
Solution Architecture & Design
  • Define target architecture for SAP analytics using SAP BTP, HANA, SAC, and Datasphere.
  • Design scalable data models supporting financial, risk, and management reporting.
  • Architect secure integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems (Core Banking, Treasury, CRM, Data Lakes).
  • Establish data governance, lineage, security, and access controls aligned with bank IT policies.
  • Guide cloud and hybrid deployments on SAP BTP.
SAP BTP Responsibilities
  • Design and govern applications and integrations on SAP BTP using:
    • Integration Suite
    • Cloud Foundry / Kyma runtime
    • Security & Identity services
  • Enable extensions, workflows, and automation for banking use cases.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and compliance on BTP.
SAP HANA & Datasphere
  • Oversee SAP HANA modeling, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Design enterprise data layers in SAP Datasphere (spaces, business entities, semantic models).
  • Enable real-time and batch data integration across banking systems.
  • Support advanced analytics and regulatory reporting use cases.
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • Lead SAC strategy for planning, reporting, and predictive analytics.
  • Oversee development of dashboards for Finance, Risk, ALM, Treasury, and Business MIS.
  • Implement SAC Planning models for budgeting, forecasting, and what-if analysis.
  • Ensure governance, performance optimization, and user adoption.
Stakeholder & Governance
  • Act as primary interface between business users, IT leadership, and SAP partners.
  • Drive architecture reviews, design approvals, and steering committee updates.
  • Mentor teams and establish best practices, standards, and reusable frameworks.

Requirements
  • 12+ years of SAP experience with end-to-end project delivery.
  • Strong hands-on and architectural experience in:
    • SAP BTP
    • SAP HANA
    • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
    • SAP Datasphere
  • Proven experience in Banking / Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of banking data domains: Finance, Risk, Treasury, Credit, Liquidity.
