The SAP BASIS Consultant will manage ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, handle system administration, performance tuning, and ensure security and backup protocols.
Looking for a skilled SAP BASIS Consultant with experience managing ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. Preference for candidates with Mining or Oil & Gas sector system exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system administration, installations, upgrades, and migrations (ECC → S/4HANA).
- Manage system performance, transport management, and system refreshes.
- Maintain security, roles, profiles, and user management.
- Work closely with infrastructure, DB, and SAP functional teams.
- Support backup, DR, high availability, and cloud integration.
Required Skills
- 5–12+ years SAP BASIS experience.
- Expertise in ECC & S/4HANA systems, HANA DB, and Solution Manager.
- Strong experience in performance tuning and system architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Mining/Oil & Gas SAP landscapes and large-scale system usage.
- Experience with cloud (Azure/AWS) and hybrid landscapes.
