The SAP BTP Data Architect leads data and analytics architecture across SAP solutions, ensuring consistent and scalable design and mentoring teams.
Role Summary
We are seeking a SAP BTP Data Architect to lead solution design and delivery across SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud. This role combines hands-on architecture, technical leadership, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end data and analytics architecture on SAP BTP.
- Design consistent, scalable solutions across HANA Cloud, Datasphere, and SAC.
- Decide optimal placement of:
- Business logic
- ETL logic
- Analytical calculations
- Define and enforce design standards and best practices.
- Assign work, track delivery, and resolve technical blockers.
- Act as key technical decision-maker during sprint execution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders on requirements.
- Identify and drive future improvements (transport optimization, versioning).
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep expertise in:
- SAP HANA Cloud (SQLScript, dynamic SQL, partitioning)
- SAP Datasphere modeling
- SAP Analytics Cloud reporting
- Strong solution architecture and design skills.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Ability to work in restricted enterprise environments (manual transport, no Git).
