SAP FICO Lead Consultant
Description
The SAP FICO Consultant will be part of highly motivated and passionate team within DXC. You will be responsible for the team that performs all system maintenance, project development, migration projects at DXC. Resource will be responsible for the team that performs all development tasks within SAP Projects at DXC all from idea, technical design, implementation, quality assurance, test, to cut-over support. He/she is responsible for leadership and ownership of Delivery and contractual requirements across managed environments.
SAP FICO expert who has done at least one full life cycle implementation on S/4HANA and at least 3 full lifecycle implementations on ECC. The candidate will lead the delivery team on both small and large projects. The candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality.
Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.
The SAP FICO Consultant is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills.
Responsibilities
- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
- Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
- Document functional designs, test cases and results.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
Primary Skills and Qualifications
- Candidate should have min of 10 to 12 years of experience in SAP FICO ECC & S/4 implementation & Production support projects & 4-5 years of experience as a Team lead.
- Finance background in Academics.
- Least of 9 years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger in addition to at least 9 of the accompanying capacities: Good experience in handling ECC & S/4 Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Taxes, Project Systems, RE-FX Lease account, RAR Revenue accounting Reporting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal orders, Product costing, Material ledger, Profitability Analysis, Enterprise controlling consolidation.
- Understanding of accounting business processes.
- Capacity to comprehend business forms from a client’s point of view.
- Capacity to work in a group domain, viably cooperating with others.
- Must be results-oriented.
- Involvement with FI integration focuses on other SAP-based ERP modules like MM,SD, HR, PP, and PM.
- Least of 5 years of involvement with a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
- Capacity to perform multiple tasks and deal with different expectations and undertakings simultaneously.
