The Scientist I for Cytiva is responsible for execute basic complexity laboratory projects. The   position will generate test data related to specified protocols.

This position is part of the Fast Trak Validation Services located in Bangalore and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Execute and ensure intermediate complexity test work is completed as required, with minimal guidance.
• Review and ensure job request, relevant MSDS and fully understand requirements is in accordance with laboratory SOPs, without guidance.
• Review and ensure documents prepared appropriately using datasheets or laboratory notebooks, with minimal guidance. Review and ensure test apparatus are readily available and suitable, with minimal guidance.
• Ensure and operate, understand and be able to troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing, with minimal guidance.
• Execute test work is completed according to laboratory request requirements. Ensure raw data is recorded into laboratory notebook (or similar). Immediately notify laboratory management of any test delays, problems, or deviations.

Who you are:

• MSc in Biochemistry, Chemistry with 1-5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. 
• Hands-on experience with Handling, maintaining, and trouble-shooting Balance, pH meter, UV and HPLC equipment’s.
• Basic understanding of Analytical equipment validation.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Hands on Experience with handling, maintaining and troubleshooting ICP-MS, LCMS-QToF, GCMSMS.
• Knowledge of Veeva QMS, Smartsheet & ValGenesis.
