What we're looking for:
We are looking for a SDE-1 to join our rapidly expanding Engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & Optimize – Build web applications that are fast, scalable, and secure.
- End-to-End Development – Design, develop, and maintain frontend (React/Angular) and backend (Java/JEE) components.
- Testing & Quality Assurance – Implement test procedures to ensure high product quality.
- Performance & Security – Optimize applications for speed, cross-browser compatibility, and web security (XSRF, cross-site scripting defense).
- Collaboration – Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver robust solutions.
- Version Control & Deployment – Maintain clean code with best practices using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem-Solving – Identify and resolve production issues efficiently.
Skills:
Frontend Development (Primary Focus)- 2-5 years of experience in developing scalable web applications.
- Strong proficiency in React.js/Angular, JavaScript, Redux, Redux Saga.
- Hands-on experience with UI build tools like Webpack, Gulp.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, AJAX, and REST API integration.
- Knowledge of unit test frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, Mocha (TDD experience is a plus).
- Experience optimizing for performance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
- Understanding of database design, schemas, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API security best practices.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud platforms like AWS is a plus.
