Job Summary
As a SDET 3, you will carry out the day-to-day project activities, plan quality cycles, or tasks related to them, as well as process improvement and product quality assurance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with organizational goals and project requirements
- Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring efficient resource allocation and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Oversee manual and automated testing activities to ensure comprehensive coverage of data-driven applications
- Evaluate application performance and identify areas for optimization
- Oversee defect identification, documentation, and tracking using appropriate bug tracking systems
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the QA team and contribute to enhancing testing processes
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide the QA team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Meticulous approach to ensure thorough testing and accurate defect reporting
- Excellent communication skills to convey test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Role-specific Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a quality engineering field.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent designing and programming skills.
- Experience with automated QA tools, such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Maven, TestNG.
- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Experience with Version control system like Git.
- Experience with Java for developing QA Test Solution
- Good experience working with and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience working with complex development stacks and able to test at all levels
- Working knowledge of any or all of these: Graylog, Jira, Zephyr, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Postman, Swagger.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- API, GUI and End to end testing experience
- Load and performance testing with tools such as JMeter
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills..
