Skills and Qualifications:
Experience of 4+ years of experience in Test Automation.
- Candidate should have following experience -
- Expertise in developing complex automation code – using Java, Test Automation framework – BDD Cucumber RestAssured.
- Expertise in conducting API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and RestAssured (Java)
- Expertise in creating, maintaining, and continuously improving Behavioural Driven Development Test Automation frameworks.
- Should be passionate in implementing coding best practices - Various OO Programming languages Java & Scripting – Java Script
- Knowledge of UI Test Automation - Selenium Webdriver (with Java) and Cucumber JVM.
- Web Services protocols (RESTful/SOAP).
- Proficiency in testing: RESTful web services and methods for interacting with resources
- Test management tools (e.g. JIRA/Zephyr/Confluence).
- DataBase (Postgres, ORACLE, DB2)
- Application of modern testing and quality practices and techniques used with Scaled Agile methodologies and DevOps Methodologies
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers.
- Good to have –
- Knowledge on API Contact based testing using tools like PACTflow and AI testing tools.
- Knowledge on Low Code Automation frameworks – Cypress and Playwright
- Other functional and non-functional testing (e.g- production proving, security, accessibility & OAT)
- The end-to-end Systems Development Lifecycle
