What’s the scope?
As a Senior Accountant – Statutory & Compliance, you will oversee the coordination of Statutory Financial Statements across 16 European countries and manage both Internal and External Audit activities in these relevant countries.
You will collaborate closely with the Assistant Controller to address any accounting issues that arise during the audit process and ensure the timely completion of recurring statutory deliverables, such as statistics declarations and other regulatory filings.
Your responsibilities as our Senior Accountant – Statutory & Compliance;

E2E statutory work supervision for 16 countries in EMEA: in charge of following all the differences between USGAAP leading ledger and treatments at Lgaap level. Ensure consistency, accuracy, compliance

Coordinate audit activities and ensure timely completion: 10 countries in scope for Audit, owner of the compliance calendar, reviewing deliverables before sending them for signature or to auditors

Internal Audit & Corporate Audit Follow Up: ensure support to Sox testing, addressing request and work on remediation action in case of findings

Other Accounting activities and statistical reporting: as part of EMEA Controller’s direct reports contributing to to create value among the accounting function, improving accuracy across statutory financials, benchmarking effectiveness
Skills for Success:

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience

Accounting experience at least 5 years

Communication skills: ability to ensure commitment in stakeholders

Proficiency in written and spoken English, other EU languages are a plus
